When Peter of the Southern Kingdom sat down with Cornelius of the Northern Kingdom in Acts 10, something ancient was fulfilled. The wall between Judah and Ephraim — standing since the division of the kingdom — began to come down. What men called "Gentile" and "Jew," the Most High called reunification. The dry bones were connecting. The two sticks were becoming one in His hand.

Romans 10 makes it plain — there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. Peter and Cornelius were not two strangers. They were two brothers from a divided house finally sitting at the same table, under the same King, fulfilling what the prophets had written centuries before.
