How To Keep The Sabbath By Dov

How to Keep the Sabbath According to the Bible — Digital Book by Dov

Can you properly observe the Sabbath if you don’t know when a day begins and ends?

Before you can honor an appointed time, you must understand when it begins—and what the Bible commands for that occasion.

How to Keep the Sabbath According to the Bible is an illustrated, 73-page digital study guide exploring biblical Day and Night, the heavenly lights, New Moon observance, Shabat, and the seven annual High Holy Days.

Beginning with the question, “After God said, ‘Let there be light,’ what came next—morning or evening?”, Dov develops the sunrise and first-visible-crescent reckoning through connected Scripture readings, pictorial charts, and practical household preparation.

What you’ll study

• When a Day Begins: Examine passages concerning light, darkness, morning, evening, and dawn.
• The Calendar in the Heavens: Explore the sun and moon as signs for appointed times, days, and years.
• New Moon Observance: Understand the guide’s first-visible-crescent framework and following-morning reckoning.
• Ezekiel 46: Study the distinction between the six working days, Shabat, and New Moon.
